“Every generation of image-makers changes, and the audience changes—and their appetite changes . . .” — Brian Rea

Brian is part of the short video on the New York Times site, OP-ED at 40: Four Decades of Illustration.

Wow, great interview Debbie and Brian!

Another note of praise for Brian and is job at the Times was furthering the Op Art role for artists. He continually pushed artists and editors as to what could be done. Not an easy task. It is worth mention that it was Brian Rea who approached Times editors about Christoph Niemann doing his "Abstract City" blog for readers. This has been huge. Not only for Christoph but for the profession in general.
